A Texas Justice of the Peace is a full-time judge who presides over a high volume of certain types of court cases.

This means that a good Justice of the Peace must be trusted, rooted in the community, and have the life experiences common with our neighbors.

I became an attorney later in life—after first living and working like everyone else—then added legal training and experience to complement that real-world perspective. That combination makes me uniquely qualified to create a courtroom that is fair, approachable, and easy to navigate.
